Ashley Mazanec has been recording vocals since she began working with Gabe Lehner (9Theory) of Inspired Flight in 2003. She toured as a featured vocalist across notable venues and festivals in the United States such as South by Southwest, Lightning in a Bottle, the Roxy Hollywood, Boulder Theater, The Fonda Theatre, and Cervantes Masterpiece ballroom. Her original compositions are featured in stores such as T.J. Maxx, Hershey’s, and Abercrombie Kids. Ashley is featured by a variety of electronic music producers, ranging from Bassnectar to Champagne Drip, and alongside talented hip hop artists such as Eligh from Living Legends.
Currently, Ashley strikes a balance between directing the youth music program at a small private school and singing for live audiences. She accompanies choir on piano and her live set is typically an energetic soul jazz fusion based on pop songs. For a more comprehensive list of features and videos: please visit ashleymazanec.com.
In collaboration with Ashley Mazanec on a Remix of Shelter last year, I was struck by her remarkable talents and admirable qualities. Ashley's simplicity, humility, and dedication to environmental causes shine through both her music and her interactions with others. Her generosity and boundless energy are evident in her ability to captivate audiences for hours on stage, where her extraordinary voice leaves a lasting impression. Ashley Mazanec is not only a gifted singer but also a genuinely good-hearted individual who embodies the values of compassion, community, and sustainability. Through her music and actions, she inspires others to embrace these ideals and make a positive impact on the world around them. WV
